We install fire equipment and safety systems
A sprinkler system must work at the time of a fire, but how can you be sure that this will happen?
Regulations impose design criteria that ensure that this happens, but when the scenario becomes complex, having a test field like ours, where we can simulate the operation of systems, offers a powerful weapon in firefighting.
Apt ‘s experience in the chemical, pharmaceutical, off-shore and maritime fields attest to our organization’s ability to be able to guarantee the effectiveness of the installed fire detection and extinguishing systems and to ensure their regulatory and legislative compliance through proper practices and the preparation of all necessary documentation even in extremely challenging contexts.
''Turnkey'' Service
Comprehensiveness of service is our strength. From the earliest stages Apt Safety Group provides comprehensive and targeted advice to entities subject to fire prevention inspections.
With our Plant Design services, we can develop all project phases for fire control and firefighting and integrate with all necessary detection system solutions.
We conduct feasibility studies, technical reports, computerized hydraulic calculations, detailed technical and computometric specifications.
Through its Business Network We guarantee ”Turnkey” service to many customers spread all over the country and in many international locations, including Off-Shore installations.
Each of our constructions complies with current national and international reference standards and legislations – UNI, NFPA, FM – and is accompanied by all structural fire resistance and fire plant efficiency certifications necessary to complete the authorization process for the issuance of the Fire Prevention Certificate.

The approach is based on the achievement of certain levels of safety cast in the specific performance (performance) that the building must demonstrate for the performance of the specific business activity and in the needs of the building user.
The approach is based on the achievement of certain levels of safety cast in the specific performance (performance) that the building must demonstrate for the performance of the specific business activity and in the needs of the building user.
This methodology can find wide application on structures with any degree of complexity, from the simplest single room to the high-rise building where businesses with very different uses reside, to buildings of special historical and cultural value.
Fire Safety Engineering Approach
Fire Safety Engineering can be defined as the engineering approach related to theAnalysis of fire evolutionary dynamics through computational models fluid dynamics (CFD).
It allows the simulation of the fire event applied in a targeted manner to the activity studied through the definition of all possible boundary conditions and the evaluation of all parameters suitable for verifying the actual levels of performance required and the identification of procedures/interventions to be adopted in order to achieve the set safety standards.
Application of the engineering approach includes studies of Life Safety, reconstruction of the natural fire curve as well as Fire Investigation and Fire Resistance (fire resistance of structures).
Thanks to the new simulators, test center laboratories and the ‘Fire Safety Engineering (FSE) engineering-performance approach, which is based on the actual simulation of fire through the application of suitable calculation models, we have taken the opportunity to innovate techniques, methodologies and tools in the field of fire prevention that allow us to identify the best adoptable solutions in the plant engineering field.
The solutions identified appear to be specific to the case study, resulting in economic benefits for the adjustment Of the activity by the client to the canons of fire safety engineering.
Certifying safety
Fire prevention and ICC
Activities considered medium and high risk (categories B and C) are compulsorily subjected to Fire Prevention Certification (CPI) at the design stage, according to Presidential Decree 151, which certifies their implementation of fire safety regulations.
What activities are subject to the Fire Prevention Certificate?
Category A - Low-risk activities
For this type of activities, it is not mandatory to ask the fire brigade to evaluate the project, and their inspections are carried out on a random basis; the owner of the activity can request the issuance of the technical inspection report; these are activities with a “technical rule” with a limited level of complexity.
Category B - Medium risk activities
It is compulsory to request project evaluation from the Fire Department; inspections are carried out on a random basis and the owner can request the issuance of the report; activities included in Category A are activities with a “technical rule” but with a higher degree of complexity, or without a “technical rule.”
Category C - High-risk activities
For these activities, it is mandatory to ask the Fire Department to assess the project; their inspections are mandatory and are functional for the issuance of the ICC; these are activities with a high level of complexity, regardless of the presence or absence of a “technical rule.”
